The Balance Discrepancy Alert Add-On for Tally Prime acts as a real-time validation and warning system during voucher entry.
It automatically checks the ledger group nature (positive or negative balance group) and alerts the user if, due to the current transaction, the ledger balance is becoming illogical or inconsistent—for example, a ledger under a positive balance group turning negative, or vice versa.
This helps users immediately identify wrong ledger selection or incorrect grouping before saving the voucher.
